Abstract:Prof. Jonathan Givan was thinking about something that demonstrates the technological, cultural, and communication innovation that occurs from sampler usage in Hip Hop. This would involve a presentation where he shows the audience in my own digital audio workstation how some of these songs were constructed, the history and context of the song, and how it is exemplary of the three modes of innovation that he mentioned previously.
