Presenter bio: Thanh is at the Institute for Environmental Economics and World Trade, School of Economics and Management, Leibniz University Hannover (LUH), Germany. His research and teaching focus on the interactions between environmental and development issues in the developing world. He is particularly interested in comparative and interdisciplinary studies. His research has been funded by German institutions (e.g., German Research Foundation (DFG)) and international organizations (e.g., Asian Development Bank (ADB).
